With a cool sunny morning we were looking forward to a run in the Countryman for a Breaky outing at Bob Dixon’s in Doreen.
The run through Warrandyte, Kangaroo Ground and Wattle Glen was great…the narrow winding roads through typical Australian bush just suited the Austin.
We arrived in Doreen about 9.15am and were greeted by Bob and Saichon who already had the barbeque and the coffee on.
Saichon had made some lovely prawn dumplings and fried rice, and Bob was cooking bacon and eggs… and best of all, he’d made homemade scones with jam and cream.
It was a magic day in Merlin Views…thanks to Bob and Saichon for hosting the perfect breakfast.
